Lea Strength Testers

The Three types of Lea Strength tester available to suit customer needs:-

   Automatic Lea Strength Tester
   Electronic Lea Strength Tester

Automatic Lea Strength Tester

Statex has developed automatic lea strength tester to overcome inertia and parallaxes error in testing result.It works in constant rate of elongation principle.
The special features include:

Double screw rod mechanism to ensure uniform and parallel movement of lower jaw to test lea strength accurately
Instrument is floor mounted with rugged steel body
Self aligned upper and lower jaws for precision measurement of breaking strength without any parallax errors. Auto return of lower jaw after completion of test
Testing range 0 to 500lbs (0 to250kgs), traverse speed 300mm/min
Provision to interface with Statex yarn count balance to get CSP value directly in display and printout

Two models are available:Microprocessor Model and Computerised Model.

Electronic Lea Strength Tester

Advance model of Mechanical Lea Strength Tester works in constant rate of traverse principle, it is wall-mounting type with rugged steel base for better stability.

Oil immersed gear box for silent operation and trouble free performance
Self aligning load cell for precise measurement of breaking load
Provision to interface with Statex yarn count balance to get CSP value directly in display and printout
Testing range is 0 to 500lbs / 0 to 250 kgs with traverse speed 300mm/min

Two models are available:Microprocessor Model and Computerised Model.

Mechanical Lea Strength Tester

	This instrument is used to determine the breaking load of yarn in lea form. The observed breaking load is expressed in pounds (lbs) or Kgs. Available with 1.5 yards Lea perimeter
	It works in the principle of constant rate of traverse. The traverse speed is 300 mm/min. Instrument available in 3 models : 0 -200 lbs, 0-300 lbs & 0-500 lbs.

Yarn Count Balance Computerised

This instrument is developed to determine yarn count in the form of lea, roving, sliver and cloth GSM
It is the combination of electronic balance and computer
Provision to test different count units, which includes tex, dtex, den, nm in Metric and nec, nel, new, Y.S.W in English
Software for detailed analysis of results by periodic reports and daily reports
Provision to interface with Statex automatic lea tester or Statex Electronic Lea Tester to get CSP value directly

Two models available with different range of balance capacity:

Model 300:-

Specimen measured by precise electronic balance of capacity 300 gms and readability of 0.001gm.

Model 120 :-

Specimen measured by precise electronic balance of capacity 120 gms and readability of 0.01gm.
